Tim Tindle makes a perfect run; .000 reaction time and dead on zero!

 Holt, FL – Tim Tindle’s 2009 Promod Season ended at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, finishing top ten in the Get Screened America Promod Challenge, but his season of racing was not over.  Behind the wheel of his Mullis Race Cars Dragster this past weekend, the Santa Rosa Beach, FL racer posted a rare perfect run, .000 (Perfect Reaction) and dead on 4.890 on his 4.89 dial, while competing in Emerald Coast Dragway’s Thanksgiving Wally Nationals, Holt, FL.  This marked his first ever perfect pass, which is rarely seen in any class of Drag Racing.

October Cover of DRN has been Uploaded!

The October cover of Drag Racing News has been finally uploaded and future issues will be uploaded monthly.  Sorry for the delay, we were working out the mechanics of uploading the covers.  I think they will be a plus to our readers who now can see the magazine on the internet.  We are hoping to upload photos from the various tracks within the next several weeks and our goal is to have video on this site too so stay tuned....And we're always looking for your input so contact me or Eric with any ideas, photos or articles that you would like to see featured right here.

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (November 14, 2009) – For 2009, the Fifth Annual Champions Banquet to honor the drivers and teams of the Pro Modified Racing Association was held in conjunction with the First Annual Champions Night for the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts.
Master of ceremonies Larry Satchell guided the sold out, full-to-capacity room at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario through the proceedings, which was highlighted by the recognition of the Top Five finishers in each series.

Bruce Boland wins PMRA Championship!

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (November 11, 2009) – There was no stopping Bruce Boland in Pro Modified Racing Association competition this year.
The veteran took another new car at the start of the season, winning four of the six PMRA events in 2009 to claim his third consecutive PMRA Point Award Series Championship.
“Nothing went wrong,” Boland explained about his success this year. “The car went better and better each weekend.”
After winning the 2008 PMRA title with his B&B Racing 1963 Corvette, Boland purchased the former Larry Sinke 1967 Chevy Nova Pro Modified, and went right back to his winning ways.
